I try not to watch the news too much-it gives me nightmares of kidnappings,shootings and horrible accidents.

musing woman-I know. World News is about all I can handle because it covers the basics without getting into anything too disturbing (most of the time). They only have 30 minutes after all.

Is this an "I told you so" moment or what? Hee hee. Now you see why I'm so thrilled to have a break from journalism! I am haunted by things I have read, but none more than those involving children. Remember, though: As much as you take on loving other people's children, known and unknown, there's a whole world of moms enfolding and loving yours right back, me included.

Very good post! Isn't it incredible how our perspectives change when we become mothers? All of a sudden it seems like there is so much more to lose.
