Well, Santa came and went, and now it is 2009. So much will change in this new year*.
Heck, just in the past couple of weeks we've had some big changes:
- T Junior grew teeth! He now has two on the bottom, which makes nursing a whole new adventure.
- He turned seven months old! We're now closer to the one-year mark than the day T Junior came into the world. (Sniff, sniff...tear.)
- He's mobile. Yes, he figured out how to coordinate his hands and legs, and can get pretty much anywhere he wants to go with a little bit of hard work. Right now it's a combination of crawling, stretching, rolling and diving, but he's on the verge of full-on crawling. Thank goodness, the tree is coming down soon.
Here are some of my favorite pictures from 2008 (you might want to grab a cup of coffee and your slippers, there are quite a few):

How could I not choose this picture of the day he was born. It seems like it was so long ago!

T Junior only a few days old and sleeping...during the day, of course.

I love this one because he looks like a little dolly. He's just under two months old here.

Like father, like son.

He really looks like Daddy here. And, he's in my favorite jammies at two months old.

This shirt rules.

First time sleeping in real jammies (no wrap) and the beginning of no sleep for us.

A great picture of T Junior with Daddy's mom and grandma -- four generations.

The day of his baptism.

Interacting with Grandma.

On my birthday. I found out I was pregnant two days after my birthday the year before.

T Junior's hospital stay when we found out he had salmonella.
I love this picture because it really shows how chill he is.

Sleepy baby had a bath.

This turtle better listen up!

Six months old on Thanksgiving.

Playing with Daddy.

Yum. Green beans. Sometimes, he scrunches up
his face and blows out of his nose. This has been his thing for a while now.

I am biased, but isn't he gorgeous?

This may be the only smiling Santa picture we get.

Christmas morning 2008.
*Including the font of this blog. I'm tired of having to change it to Arial every time, so I'm going with the default beginning with the captions in this blog.
Those are such gorgeous pictures! I LOVE the one of him in the knit cap. He is adorable!!! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ashley!
ReplyDeleteI love the quick catch-up! My favorite picture is still the one in the little beanie. It is so adorable.
